Greetings folks. This is Shadow. Sorry of the lack of posts lately. We attended this event back in August, but it is definitely still worth reporting on. This event is must even if you are not a die hard Star Wars fan. They have all sorts of events from movie screenings, celebrity interviews, speed dating, even a star wars Origami class. You really will not be able to see it all, but everything you do get to see I guarantee would not disappoint. Lots of great costumes. Lots of venders selling all sorts of memorabilia. Food court was pretty decent for an event like this. No need to leave the convention center (though that is always an option with the selection on International Drive). They had their share of American, Italian, Greek, Chinese, and Japanese food. We decided to go for the crepes. It was fun to watch them make and they tasted great, very hearty. Over all outstanding event.

Star Wars Celebration VI, Orlando August 23-26 2012
Hello. Food Ninja here. We are behind in our blog, but we are still going to post these places and events that I think people to will still enjoy reading about for the possible next time these events come back. I do apologize for being behind. So our first event is the awesome Star Wars Celebration convention that was back in August. This event rocked. So many characters and interesting things to see. The food was delicious as well. I really enjoyed walking around to the different stands and going to see the different events going on in the rooms around the convention center and meeting the celebrities. I felt very welcomed there. Everybody was very friendly. The atmosphere had a brotherhood feel 'cause we were all there for the same reason and that was to engulf our selves in STAR WARS. I did not want to leave. This was truly an experience that nobody should pass up. So wherever you are and if it comes to your city, I suggest not passing this up and get there early and let it take you to a galaxy far far away so take it from the food ninja please enjoy.

Nara Deva
Welcome to go gin chow restaurant reviews by the food ninja. Today I would love to give you my take on a great Thai restaurant in Orlando close to Mall at Millenia. It is called Nara Deva here they keep it authentic and delicious. Wow. I was truly impressed by the food quality and service. The decor was clean and traditional. We were welcomed with a smile that to me is great service. Now the food in words it was so good it was like home cooking. I must of gained 10 lbs before I left there and the prices were up there so if your willing to drop some cash for a great smile, great food and good service this is your place. so take it from the food ninja please enjoy!
Shadow here. Excellent place for Thai. Prices are expensive, but so is everything else in this area, it is by the Millenia Mall after all. The quality and selection of food are definitely worth it. Menu is huge and has pictures of the food which is great. The menu also lists the dishes in Thai as well as English, which is a good sign. The shrimp rolls were very good and were wrapped with ground pork as well as wonton pastry, a nice touch. The crab rolls (Hoi Jor) were sliced much thinner than I am used to for this dish, but tasted great. Mixed Seafood Papaya Salad was superb, very tasty and garnished with paper thin slices of grapefruit, but a word of caution, the scallops are raw. The Northern Style Pork Chops and Spicy Tomato Dip was definitely of interest as it not typically found on most Thai restaurant menus. Pork was cooked well, dipping sauce was a tad too sweet. Soft Shell Crab with Yellow Curry was my least favorite, but still tasted great and was spicy and we requested it. Sticky rice is served in traditional basket woven containers. Service was very efficient and considering that there were only two servers, they did a great job, however they could be a little friendlier. Bathrooms are super clean. Decor is nice, wilderness lodge-like rustic wooden tables and chairs with interior decorated with traditional Thai wood carvings and statues. Definitely one of the best Thai Restaurants around. Happy Eating!
